We believe an internal group dedicated to renovation and capital planning results in the highest return on investment to owners, brands, and guests. Our renovation and capital planning projects range from complete renovations in Manhattan to repositioning full-service branded hotels in suburban markets. HHM provides hotel owners with a one-stop shop for hotel management and PIP execution. In a typical year, our dedicated team of 12 professionals renovates and performs brand PIPs on over 20 hotels.

Major renovation/ Re-flagging
Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel – Iselin, NJ
The reflagging and opening of the Renaissance Hotel in Woodbridge, NJ concluded an $18 million complete renovation and introduced ground-breaking concepts for the Renaissance brand. Over the course of 18 months, the entire space was completely redesigned and reprogrammed (while staying operational) – three restaurants were consolidated into a single restaurant and two private dining rooms, the fitness center was expanded, and over 20,000 square feet of meeting space was revitalized.
The Boxer – Boston
Following a multi-million dollar renovation, The Boxer, an 80-room hotel in downtown Boston, has been completely transformed as a modern and eclectic boutique with echoes of the city in its design. Formerly known as Bulfinch Hotel, it opened with a new restaurant, Finch. Guestrooms were custom-designed with the unique architecture of the historic Flatiron building in mind – utilizing the charm of the building’s unique shape, to provide a new and different experience with each room key.
HYATT house Pleasant Hill
Completely transformed to adapt the new brand hallmarks and standards, HYATT houseTM Pleasant Hill underwent a multi-million dollar renovation. The 142 revamped suites feature the latest in wired and wireless technology, completely updated bathrooms including walk-in showers, kitchen suites and guestrooms. The renovated lobby features the new H Bar and an open-air patio with fire pit for guests to break away from the day and gather with colleagues or just relax.
Residence Inn Greenbelt
In 2013, Residence Inn Greenbelt underwent a full renovation that revamped every corner of the hotel. From public spaces that feature the new individualized Study Pods and the enhanced Gatehouse with new seating, buffet line and market area, to the completely redone guestrooms, corridors, meeting rooms, fitness center and fire pit on the outdoor patio, each area of the hotel was enhanced to accommodate the modern traveler.
