HHM Grows in Leisure Markets
Philadelphia-Based Hospitality Company Expands Resort Operations in Florida and California
PHILADELPHIA – January 28th, 2016 –HHM announced today that it now manages TheSanctuary Beach Resort in Monterey Bay Beach, California, further expanding its unique and growing group of leisure-focused properties. The company plans to continue to take on these types of hotels to diversify their operations portfolio, which is currently concentrated in urban environments and their submarket neighborhoods and business communities.
The Sanctuary Beach Resort comes shortly after HHM’s management acquisition of Parrot Key Resort in Key West, Florida, which is also part of their thriving Independent Collection. Both of these unique properties are designed to be the ultimate getaways for the leisure guest looking to unplug and reconnect with nature.
The Sanctuary Beach Resort is a full service, luxury property with 60 cottages located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean – nestled in the heart of the Marine Dunes Preserve – on 19 acres of secluded, oceanfront shoreline. With beach access, a heated pool and their signature Serenity Spa, The Sanctuary Beach Resort is an ideal escape in an incredible location.
The Parrot Key Resort is a luxurious, 148 room waterfront property that sits slightly outside of the hustle and bustle of Key West’s historic Old Town. Providing their guests a more relaxed vibe they might fight in the Caribbean, the resort is still just a short, complimentary shuttle ride away from the center of it all. Boasting elegantly appointed rooms, four secluded swimming pools, lush tropical gardens, extensive Gulf of Mexico views and island-style dining at their onsite restaurant Café Blue, Parrot Key Resort is a fantastic addition to both the Independent Collection and HHM.
“We want our guests to have an unparalleled experience at our hotels, no matter the market or category of the property,” said HHM CEO Naveen Kakarla.“From business to leisure and coast to coast – every type of traveler can expect a unique experience, with exceptional service and amenities, in their desired location. We are proud that these new resort additions reflect our mission.”
